Open Age Player and Coach Development Policy
Continue the skills and technical coaching, demand good levels of fitness, understanding of the laws of the game and positive attitude to playing football. The 1st team and reserves system (one squad) to be fully enforced with high expectations of 1st tam success, Players to be prepared to play where chosen. Older players to help in the development of younger players coming into the squad and in setting examples on and off the field of play. Still promote the fun / enjoyment element of belonging to Howden Clough. Older players to be encouraged to assist coaching and developing younger age groups with a view to becoming coaches at a later stage.

What a win Clough beat fellow promotion challengers Ryhill 3-0 !!! in their last game of the season.
Ryhill can get same points as Clough but need to win each of their last 3 games 6-0 to up their goal average22  to Cloughs 40

A midfield battle ensued for the rest of the game, Andy Pounder and Neil Griffiths were excellent, Clough created a couple of chances during extra time but the sides were deadlocked. In the penalty shoot out Colin Wood gave Clough the lead after Littletown had missed their opening pen while McGlone crashed home their second after the hosts had levelled. Kieran Hallas saved Littletown's third , Danny Cooper put Clough 3-1 up before Littletown missed again to see Clough through.
