Soccer Development Plan
Under 9s Within Mini-Soccer Rules.
Build on individual soccer skills and understanding of the laws of the game. Still moving players around in different playing positions, continuing to develop all around ability and understanding of team roles, playing for enjoyment. WINNING IS NOT THE ISSUE. Increase the light stretching routines to continue development of good warm up and cool down practices. Small sided games. Limit number of games against opposition clubs

Clough U9s produced a fine performance to progress to the next round of the cup with a 6-0 win over Driglington.
Strong defence by Matthew Dyson and George O'Hara assisted goalkeeper Reece Sharp. Kieran Worthey performed well in midfield, while goals came from MoM Joe Winpenny (two), Adam Prince (two), Paddy Sykes and Conner Hall.

7 May 06
Cough u9s beat Scholes to secure third place in the RDC league. MOM Reece Sharpe had a splendid game in goal, aided by a strong defence of George O'Hara, Kyle Kearsley and Matthew Dyson. Patrick Sykes and Conner Hall created goals for Joe Wimpenny and Kieran Worthey, while Adam Prince also went close.
Under 9C were unlucky to be beaton 3-0 by Brad PA. Ben Gilman did an excellant job in goal, while MOM Keelan Charlton and Harry Crann were solid in defence. George Langdale, Ronan Marriner and Joe Cooper controlled midfield. Forwards Kieran Goodman and Matthew Bramham were unlucky not to score.
