Clough made progress in the Heavy Woollen Secker Cup which for the first time is for under 13 teams.
Clough were involved in a cracking tie against Tingley Ath as they edged it by the odd goal in 17.
Clough were in control having built up a 7-2 half time lead but Tingley fought back to level at 7-7 before Clough edged it at 9-8.
Harry Tingle fired six goals for Clough while Liam Mullholland (two) and Lewis Boddy were also on target
