Open Age Player and Coach Development Policy
Continue the skills and technical coaching, demand good levels of fitness, understanding of the laws
of the game and positive attitude to playing football. The 1st team and reserves system (one squad)
to be fully enforced with high expectations of 1st tam success, Players to be prepared to play where chosen. Older players to help in the development of younger players coming into the squad and in setting examples on and off the field of play. Still promote the fun / enjoyment element of belonging
to Howden Clough. Older players to be encouraged to assist coaching and developing
younger age groups with a view to becoming coaches at a later stage.

Sat 19 Dec 04 Howden Clough beat Hare and Hounds 6-1 thanks to Lee Hemmings (two), Daniel Clemson (two), Andy Goodlad and Adrian White.

Sat 15 Jan Clough put #Nelson to the sword with a 10-0 win. Clough led 6-0 at half time. Paul Lilley, Ian Hall Mark Iswall all scored twice and Lee Crossland, Steve Brooke, Mark Walker and Adie White also contributed to the emphatic score line.

Sat 12 Feb Clough climbed into third place with a big 11-1 win over FC Bosnia. Paul Lilley led the way with 4 goals, Mark Walker 2, Ian Hall, Phil Crossland, Adie White, Danny Logan and Danny Clemson were also on target
