Open Age Player and Coach Development Policy
Continue the skills and technical coaching, demand good levels of fitness, understanding of the laws
of the game and positive attitude to playing football. The 1st team and reserves system (one squad)
to be fully enforced with high expectations of 1st tam success, Players to be prepared to play where chosen. Older players to help in the development of younger players coming into the squad and in setting examples on and off the field of play. Still promote the fun / enjoyment element of belonging
to Howden Clough. Older players to be encouraged to assist coaching and developing
 younger age groups with a view to becoming coaches at a later stage.

Sun 12 Dec 04. Richard McCann scored twice as Clough reserves won 4-1 at home to Needless.
 Jason Campbell and Stephen Brooke also struck as Clough remain six points clear.
Sun 2 Jan 05. Div 4 leaders Clough suffered their only second league defeat of the season ,3-5 at Liversedge CC, Jason Campbell (two) and Chris Kemp scored for Clough.
Sun 16 Jan 05. Clough strengthened their position at the top following a 4-3 win at Roseys Bar. Jason Campbell, Danny Logan, Kevin Walker and Jason Staincburn scored for Clough who now lead by 8 points.
Sun 13 Feb 05. Clough edged a 7 goal thriller as they progressed to the 3rd round. Goals from Ian Hall, Craig McCann, Carl McCann and Lee Crossland saw Clough progress.
Sun 10 Apr 05. Clough remain 3 points clear after a 9-0 win over Roseys Bar thanks to Richard McCann(four), Carl McCann(two), Jason Stainburn, Joe Armitage and Lee Crossland.
