great pass to Broadbent who scored her second. The second half
was dominated with some great work from Emily Bretton, Samantha Ingle,

Howden
Clough v Seacroft Colts. Under 16 girls.
The Clough
girls worked hard during the first half battling well on a heavy pitch. Some
fantastic runs from Laura Broadbent and Heather Haigh tested the Seacroft
keeper who made some fine saves.Katherine
Lee worked hard in the Clough defence supported well by Emilly Bratton and
Roxanne Stainburn, leaving Chantelle Brennan little to do in the Clough
goal. Eventually
Broadbent managed to pass the Seacroft keeper with a clever side foot and
then a further first goal for the club by Katie Brennan gave Clough a two
nil cushion at half time. The Clough
girls worked twice as hard in the second half passing and challenging every
ball, this resulted in a further two goals from Broadbent to give her an
hatrick. Also Beth Allsop scored a scorcher with a long range shot giving
the Seacroft keeper no chance. A great
Clough performance resulting in a five nil win.
