.The start of the 1998/99 season brought history to Howden Clough with the introduction of the first ever girls team .The girls play in the Calderdale U12 Girls League where in their first season through sheer determination and enthusiasum they reached the Calderdale Cup Final losing by one goal in a very close game to a more experienced team.The girls then went on to become runners up in the league losing only one game.
