Continue with the theme introduced at
11/12s. Increase technical coaching and introduce fitness training within
sessions. Begin to expect improved results from the team setting targets
to be achieved. Promote the targets to the players, increase discipline
in attendance and attitude towards the club rules and policy.

Pontefract 6-1 Clough U14 Girls
(Sun 19 Oct 03)
Clough U14 Girls kept a strong Pontefract side a bay early on with good
defending from Fay Payne, Rachel Bland and Jessica Nicholson.
Goalkeeper Rebecca Moll made several fine saves before Pontefract struck
twice - she was injured later and taken off injured.
Larna Dixon and Jodie Hunter put Pontefract under pressure which led to
Bethany Mundy pulling a goal back. Sophie Bradbury made a fine debut but
Pontefract added 4 more goals.
Clough U14 Girls 2-6 Heaton (Sun 26 Oct 03)
Clough U14 Girls made a good start against Heaton as Jodie Hunter scored.
Heaton equalised but after good passing from Beth Mundy and Sophie
Bradbury, Hunter struck with a powerful shot.
Despite good goalkeeping from Becky Moll and defending by Jess Nicholson,
Rachel Bland and Faye Payne, Heaton levelled again. Robyn Enstock came on
in the second half to defend well but Heaton took a grip to win 7-2.
Clough U14s 0-2 Tingley Ath (9 Nov 03)
Clough started well and a good move by Sophie Bradbury and Jenny Walsh
led to Josie Hunter going close.
Tingley came into the game and scored with a good shot just before half
time.
Faye Payne, Rachel Bland and Bethany Mundy kept Tingley at bay while
Player of match Becky Moll made some excellent saves.
Tingley put together some good passing moves and Clough couldn't prevent
them adding a second goal just before the end.
