Second period - Cloughs keeper Victoria Larkin made an impressive save and stout defending from Kirsty Glyde , Helen Blakeley , Natalie Gray and Sara Whitehead weathered a brief City storm. Just as a draw seemed to be on the cards Clough were dealt the unkindest of blows scoring an own goal from a city corner to give Bradford the victory.

Clough Girls lack of match practice clearly showed as they made a slow start, finding themselves two down at the interval to a sharper Rothwell Town , this could have been more but for keeper Victoria Larkin making two superb saves.
The restart saw Clough a lot sharper stringing several good moves together and pulled a goal back through a hard working Helen Wagstaff.
Cloughs confidence grew after intense pressure on the Rothwell goal grabbed a well earned equaliser from Hayley Holt.
