U10 Player Development Policy
Continue build on individual soccer skills but with more emphasis on each individual improving their ability, still moving players around in different playing positions continuing to develop all round playing ability and understanding of team roles, still playing for enjoyment, introduce the idea that winning is fun, no pressure to succeed.
Increase stretching routines (still light) to continue development of good warm up and cool down practices. Begin specific coaching practices :- attacking play, defensive play. Small sided games, 7 a side moving to 11 a side towards the end of the season. Increase number of games against opposition clubs towards end of season. Begin to organize into 1st and 2nd teams with players moving between the two. Start training with the older age groups getting ready for league football

A fine first half performance from Clough.
