Coach Development Policy
Continue the skills and technical coaching, increase pressure to
continue self development by the individual. (Fitness training outside
the club sessions). Insist on the right playing attitude - response
to adverse decisions, provocation from the opposition, positive not
negative criticism of team members, improve players knowledge of the
laws of the game.
Continue target setting (targets should have higher expectations), also
continue the discipline in attendance and attitude to the club rules and
policies. Introduce the expectation that the players will progress to
play in the clubs open age teams.
All players in these age groups to train together,
with the under 16's attending u17/Open Age training sessions towards the
end of the season.
